1) Dialogue between son and father regarding getting help in Maths:
Ans:-
Father: Hello, son. You are late today. Where were you? Is everything O.K.? Yes, everything is fine Dad. I had been to my friend Prasad's house.
Father: But, son, you should name informed at home first. We were so worried.
Raj: Sorry, Dad. I'll do that next time.
Father: Why did you go to Prasad's house?
Raj: Dad, I was having some difficulty in Geometry. Prasad's brother is very good in Maths. So Prasad told me to come over to solve my difficulties.
Father: And did Prasad's brother help you?
Raj: Yes, Dad. He explained Trigonometry very well and in a very simple way. I understood the sums very well. I intend to go there a few more times for practice.
Father : But Raj, you are already going for Maths classes. Don't they explain Maths at the classes? I am spending such an enormous amount too!
Raj: That's true, Dad, but somehow I didn't follow this particular problem although the teacher at the classes explained it several times. Besides, you know that I am a little weak in Maths.
Father: So now are all your problems solved?
Raj: More or less, Dad. I will be going to Prasad's place a few more times for practice. In this way I'll become perfect.
Father: I am very happy, son, you are working very hard at your studies. What about the other subjects?
Raj: No problem, Dad. You know I have always been good in all other subjects; a little reading will do me good.
Father: Well, son, I am glad to hear this. Now I am convinced you that will secure more than 80%. But next time please inform when you go. We get so worried.
Raj: Sure, Dad.
2. Dialogue between teacher and student on open day discussing some subjects:
Ans:-
Adil : Good morning. Ma'am.
Teacher: Adil! Good morning. Now, let me see, your Roll No. is 7... Yes, here is your result. Adil, you have done very badly in languages in Hindi and Marathi.
Adil: Yes Ma'am, I find these subjects very difficult and very boring.
it boring. It is also because you have not really learnt these languages.
Teacher: Adil, no subject is boring. It's because you don't like the subjects - that you find
Adil: I find it very difficult to read the language.
Teacher: Listen Adil, you must get one thing in your brain and that is, whether you like it or not, you have to pass in these subjects. So you might as well start taking interest in these subjects.
Adil: But Ma'am, even the teachers don't make it interesting. They talk in Marathi or Hindi which I can't understand,
Teacher: Adil, I will now give you the 'mantra' to study these subjects.
Adil :Yes, Ma'am, I am ready please give me the 'mantra'.
Teacher: Every day you write two paragraphs of your textbook. When you are writing, read aloud and also comprehend the meaning of what you are writing. You'll find the language very very interesting once your interest is aroused. Learning will be a joy.
Adil: Thank you, I am going to try this from today.
Teacher:Adil remember 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step'.
3.Write a conversation between a patient and a doctor regarding eye donation.
Sarah:Good morning, Doctor. How are your patients today?
Doctor:Good morning, Sarah. All my patients are fine. But tell me, how is your Dad feeling after the cataract surgery?
Sarah: He is fine, Doctor. I know that the lens transplantation will help him to see without trouble, but what about those who are completely blind?
Doctor: Those who are blind have hope today because there are people who are donating their eyes.
Sarah: What must be done in order to donate one's eyes?
Doctor: You must fill a form and state that in the event of a fatal accident or death, your eyes will be taken and given to someone in need of eyes. This is your wish after your death.
Sarah: I must pledge my eyes while I am alive and then my relatives can fulfil my wish after my death. Is that right, Doctor?
Doctor: Yes, Sarah, but you must also sign a form of consent.
Sarah : Whom should I contact in order to pledge my eyes to a good cause?
Doctor: You can write to the National Eye Bank, or to AIIMS, New Delhi and get further information and other details from them.
Sarah: Thank you, Doctor, for being such a great help and thank you for looking after my father's eyes.
Doctor: It is my duty, as a doctor to look after my patients. Thank you, Sarah for deciding to donate your eyes. Someone is going to be really lucky.
